I am Hubert J. Cantave, MD

I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the State University of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I did afterwards a 3-year residency in Urology and obtained a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service for a 2-year fellowship in Urology first at the University Clinic in Hamburg, Germany and then at the Loretto Hospital in Freiburg, Germany. On my way back home, everything started to crumble down in my country. My parents convinced me to make a swerve to the US because they feared for my safety. I studied again the Basic Sciences in Medicine to pass the USMLE and matched with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where I did a one-year internship in pathology. However, I missed the human contact and I switched to a 3-year Residency in Family Medicine that I completed there.

After graduation I was employed first by the US Airforce before moving to South Florida, where I am still active in primary care. I worked at several locations in Miami, Broward, Palm Beach and now I am delighted to serve you at Revamed Associates in Greenacres. I am fluent in English, French, Creole and German.
