Dr. Jodi Simkins is a Phi Beta Kappa honoree with over 25 years of experience in the South Florida area. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Florida with a degree in biochemistry. She got a Medical Degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
She continued her medical training at the University of South Florida affiliated hospitals for her residency in Internal Medicine from 1985-1988.
Dr. Simkins worked as an Attending Internist in the department of Interna Medicine at Northport, New York. She then worked as a Primary Care Physician for Humana Health Care Plans in Sunrise, Florida and admitting internist at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. She continued her career as a Primary Care Physician for Broward Managed Care in Margate, Florida; after which she transitioned to office-based health care at the office of Dr. Marlene Wolf in Coral Springs, Florida. She owned her own practice as a solo practitioner in Coral Springs, Florida for 1 year then and worked for Northwest Heart and Health Institute in Margate, Florida as there primary care physician.
In 2013 she joined Boca Integrative Health before they were sold to REVAMED whom she is still working with presently
Dr. Simkins is an avid cross trainer, loves exercising and is a strong proponent of healthy lifestyles, encouraging her patients to exercise and enjoy foods that promote good health.
Her main focus is in preventative healthcare.
